Care Lawyer

Rowberry Morris are looking for a solicitor with approximately 5 Years PQE + / CILEX / to join our Reading Office to work within our Child Care department. We are looking for a candidate with empathy and enthusiasm.

The successful candidate will have experience in acting for parents involved in Care Proceedings and attending PLO meetings. Membership of or willingness and suitability to apply to join the Children Panel an advantage.

All candidates must be local to our Reading office or within a reasonable distance of travel to enable face-to-face meetings with clients in the office and attendance at Court in and around Berkshire.

Role requirements:

• Interest and experience in court advocacy.
• Experience in using CCMS and strong knowledge of legal aid requirements.
• Prepare and conduct cases efficiently in accordance with the firm’s policies.
• Good IT skills with knowledge of how to use LEAP being an advantage. Team focused mindset.
• A passion for dealing with vulnerable clients and representing or wishing to represent Guardian’s/Children.
