Elizabeth Moffitt
Solicitor
Private Client
Elizabeth qualified as a solicitor in 1996. She initially qualified as a solicitor in family law, and then became a solicitor specialising in property matters. The knowledge she gained from these two areas of law means she can provide holistic advice to clients. She is a Trusts and Estates Practitioner (TEP) and a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She specialises in Wills, estate tax planning, lasting powers of attorney, trusts and estate administration including intestate estates, Deeds of Variation to Wills, Discretionary and Pilot Trusts, and has expertise with Court of Protection applications for deputyships.
Elizabeth enjoys meeting her clients, listening to their life stories, and if required, navigating any difficult family issues to provide a practical solution that is easily understood.
Elizabeth is a Dementia Friend, the Alzheimer’s Society scheme to raise awareness of the challenges faced by families living with dementia. As a student, she worked as a care assistant caring for patients with dementia, extensive mental health issues and later in the cardiac unit.
In her spare time Elizabeth enjoys entertaining friends and family, long walks, and anything to do with flowers.
