Peter is a partner specialising in Family Law. He is the Head of the Family Department at Rowberry Morris.
Qualifying as a solicitor in March 1996, he has specialised exclusively in the field of family law. Having joined Rowberry Morris in May 2000, he became a partner and head of department in April 2002. In 2010, he went on to open the firm’s award-winning office in Richmond. He also runs the Family team in Staines-upon-Thames at 15 Clarence Street, Staines, Middlesex, TW18 4SU.
Dedicated to providing clear and concise advice in often sensitive situations, Peter’s focus is on helping individuals dealing with often difficult and complex divorce, issues with children and financial disputes; he has particular experience in dealing with high net value cases.
Married or co-habiting couples and civil partners can be assisted by Peter, either to regulate any agreement between them when starting to live together, e.g. by drafting and advising upon co-habitation agreements and pre-nuptial agreements, or to resolve any problems in the event that their relationship fails.
Like all of the firm’s family practitioners, Peter is a member of Resolution, which is an organisation whose ethos is, where possible, to resolve matters in a constructive, efficient and non-confrontational way. Peter also holds membership of the Law Society’s specialist Family Law Panel.
Peter is a trained and experienced collaborative lawyer and mediator, as he firmly holds the belief that, in the majority of cases, it is preferable for clients to have control over their lives by reaching a negotiated settlement. He is a member of Thameside Collaborative Lawyer and Mediators.
