Practitioners Code for Will preparation in England and Wales came into effect which introduced a binding set of principles and expected practices for all members of STEP in England & Wales.
The STEP Code for Will preparation lays out a set of ethical principles that demonstrate openly the standard of transparency and service a client can expect from a STEP Member preparing their Will. Its introduction follows the government’s call for professional bodies to develop their own code of conduct specifically covering Will writing in England & Wales.
Members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners include the most experienced and senior practitioners in the field of Wills, Trusts and Estates. Rowberry Morris have one Full Member of STEP, Helen Greenwood. All lawyers in our Private Client Department adhere to the STEP Will Writing Code to ensure that all work relating to Will preparation meets standards consistent with that Code.
Your Will will be drafted in accordance with the STEP will writing code, taking into account your particular circumstances, ensuring that you receive a high-quality service from the lawyers at Rowberry Morris.
